The Conference about driving the ISO22000 System to build up and ISO9001 to update

The staff of Shun Tai Food, Co. held a conference about building up ISO22000 System and updating the ISO9001 System successfully in July 8^th 2009. The conference indicates that the company has begun to conduct the task of building up ISO22000 Food Safety Management System and updating ISO 9001 Quality Management System.

Based on the idea of people-oriented and quality-first, since it established the company has been focused on providing the consumers with high-quality meat processed product, and it was recognized by ISO9002 in 2000, ISO9001 in 2003, and HACCP in 2004.

In pace with increasing demands for food quality, many countries make the regulations of their own. However, the regulations and standards are different between countries and it is difficult for the food processed companies to handle, causing inconvenience in international food trade. Integrating the standards of related countries, ISO released the latest international standards ISO22000:2005 in September 1^st 2005. This food quality management system brings up requests for each organization involved.

ISO22000-Food Safety management System includes eight aspects: scope, quoted documents, terms and definitions, policies and principles, the design of Food Safety Management System, the implementation of Food Safety Management System, the maintenance of the system and management review.

The purpose of ISO22000 is to make all organizations in the food train execute Food Safety Management System, including feed producers, primary producers, food manufactures, food transportation and storage workers, subcontractors, retailers and organizations about food service part, like equipments and packages producers, addictives and ingredients producers.

There is a motto in business area: No quality, no tomorrows. Indeed, the competition of enterprises basically is the competition of quality. Quality management should mainly focus on prevention part, control the process and keep improving food quality, so that we could do a better job. As new acknowledge and new technologies appear, new standards and new regulations are needed, so it requires us to strengthen the awareness of product quality and improve our management.

The managers and leaders of our company play much attention to building up and updating Quality Management System. To ensure we successfully conduct this task and reach good result, some requirements are brought up and all staff are expected to follow:

A commission should be found. The manager of Administration Department is appointed as the officer and the manager of Quality Department is vice officer.
BOSI Management Advisor, Co. is hired as the advisor of this case. As for the performance of departments and people involved, they could judge and come forward with rewards and punishments directly.
From now on, all departments must coordinate with BOSI, take the job seriously and execute the plan actively. What is more, you should attain the trainings applied by the company and improve your quality management ability, live up to the development of our company.
